Founded in 1978, North Park is the home of the Vikings, a grades 9-12 semester high school located in the suburbs of Brampton, Ontario.
As of 2012, their current enrolment of students attending is 1,386, with 93 staff members.
The school draws students from their local neighborhoods as well from other areas of Brampton as it hosts the International, Business, and Technology (IBT) regional program that incorporates technology into the school curriculum.
There are two main shopping malls located approximately 6 and 8 minutes by car from North Park, Trinity Common Mall and Bramalea City Centre, respectfully, as well as small plazas within walking distances from the school.
The school mascot is the Viking and the school colours are orange, blue and white.
